Goku. Goku is the best knwn character in all of the DBZ series. hes is the most powerful of the lot. hes not the brightest person in the world. he has two sons, gohan and goten. his most powerful attack is the Genki-dama(spirit bomb), best his favorite attack is the kamehameha.

Vegeta. vegeta is a cocky saiyan with a horrible attitude. he was once prince of all saiyans, until he was beaten by goku. After the frieza saga, he becomes a good guy, but he is still, in his mind, feirce rivals with goku. his best attack is the palm blast, commonly known as the big bang attack.

Gohan. Gohan is a powerful fighter, but never passes ssj2. at the end of DBZ he marries vidal, and they have a daughter named Pan. as a child gohan showed great potential, but in his later years, he slacks off, and becomes weaker. gohans best attack is the Masenko, but he doesnt use it all that much.

Goten. son of goku, brother of gohan. much is expected out of goten. he is a very honest hard working kid, and has great potential, but he never really develops it. his best friend is trunks.

Trunks. Much is also expected out of him. Vegeta, after seeing future trunks, expects him to be twice as good a fighter. He is cocky and arrogant like his father, but hes still a good fighter, and develops more than goten does. he has no real special attacks.

Piccolo. Piccolo is a strong namekian. Up until the cell saga, he is one of the strongest. piccolo has fused with nail and kami. Piccolo is smart, and he is the leact arrogant of the bunch. has best attack is the special beam connon, in japanese it is, makkankosoppo, or somethin like that.

ChiChi. Chichi is gokus wife. she was raised by gyuu mao (ox king) and showed potential as a young girl. She is always wanting gohan to study instead of fight, even though hes better at fighting. Chichi, is ughhh, pretty ugly. haha

Krillin. Krillin has been gokus best friend ever since they started training together. krillin was right up there with goku during DB, but his lack of training shows all through DBZ and GT. Krillin is married to android 18, and they have a daughter named marron

Tien (tenshinhan). Tien is the strongest earthling in all of the series. he trained at the crane school, and develop his power, as a teenager, through anger. he used to want to be like Tao (an assassin). but after the twenty second tenkaichi budokai, he befriends the Z fighters, and becomes a good guy.

Yamcha. yamcha was once a desert thief, accompanied by his shape shifting cat puar. yamcha is a skilled swordsman, but can be a little cocky, and sometimes he gets himself into situations, that he should not get into, due to his weak powerlevel.

Bulma. Bulma is the first human the goku ever meets (besides grandpa gohan) She is a drama queen, and dates yamcha for a while. She has two kids with vegeta, but they never marry, due to the fact that they are nothing alike.

Frieza. Frieza is a force to be reckoned with. He has 4 forms, each increasingly stronger. after escaping death on namek, he returns to earth to kill goku, but trunks arrives and slaughters him (litterally).

Cell. Cell is a strong fighter, that is made up of cells from all the Z fighters. he gains power, by absorbing people, and the androids. he is killed by gohan, in the cell games.

Dr. Gero. Dr gero (android 20), is the mastermind behind the androids, and cell. he is weak, and his own androids eventually turn on him.

Brolly, brolly is a "legendary" supersaiyan, that appears in movies 8,10 and 11. he is powerful, but slow. he seeks to kill kakalotto, or kakarot, which is gokus saiyan name. he wants to kill him, because he is the only person that ever made him cry (as kids).

Garlic junior. Garlic junior is an old foe of gokus. in movie 1 garlic junior tries to take over the world, but is stopped by goku and piccolo. Later he returns and tries to do the same, only this time he has these servants that can bite people and make them evil, he is eventually trapped in the deadzone by piccolo and gohan.

King Cold. King cold is friezas father. he isnt really important, as he is only seen once in the series.

Cooler. Cooler is friezas brother, he is intelligent and much stronger than frieza. he finds a fifth stage in transformation, after transforming once more after the form where his head is really round.

Majin Buu. majin buu was once feared by the entire universe, before he was sealed up for millions years. he unleashed once again. he is the strongest villian in the DBZ series, and has many forms.
